3 | Addressing Objections with Rebuttals


Objection: “You’re too expensive.”

Prospect: I’m not sure I can afford your services right now. Is there any way we can reduce the cost?

You: I appreciate your goal to save money, but let me ask you a crucial question: Do you prefer to partner with a moving company that focuses solely on price, or one that has a dedicated crew committed to safely and carefully delivering all your belongings to their destination?

Objection: “I need to check with my spouse/partner.”

Prospect: I need to speak with my partner first. Can I get back to you later?

You: Totally get it. Moving is tough and you need to be on the same page. Would it be helpful if I gave your partner a call to walk them through the process and how we work?

Objection: “We got a lower quote from another company.”

Prospect: We actually ended up getting a lower quote from another company, so we’re gonna go with them.

You: I understand your desire to save money, but the thing about comparing prices for movers is that it’s really not apples to apples. 

What I mean by that is, you know, if you're out shopping for a TV, you could price that out at Best Buy, then go check out the same TV at Walmart and see which one is cheaper.
